A counselor at an educational institute is a safe, friendly person who listens to students and guides them when they feel sad, stressed or confused about school and life. . Meet with students on on one to hear their worries about exams, friends, family or the future. . Help students choose the right classes, plain their career or find ways to feel calmer. . Keep everything a student says private, unless the student is in danger. . Talk with teachers and parents to share helpful tips on how to support a struggling student. . Help fix arguments or misunderstanding between students and teachers. Key Responsibilities - . Help students choose the right courses, plan their goals and prepare for future jobs. . Provide a safe space for students to talk about stress, personal problems or sadness. . Help fix conflicts or arguments between students or between students and teachers. . Explain institute rules , programs and admission options to new or prospective students. . Write down notes from sessions while keeping everything private and confidential.

Requirements

. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology or counselling . Diplomas in career guidence or counselling . 2 to 3 years of experience in this field . Explaining things clearly and talking effectively
