Job Code - 2197 Male ITI Fitter in Milk Factory in Saharanpur An ITI Fitter is a milk factory keeps all the milk processing, packaging and cooling machines ruuning smoothly. . Repair or replace broken parts in milk pumps, pasteurizers (machines that heat milk to kill germs), homogenizers ( machines that make milk smooth ) and packaging units. . Inspect machines daily to stop sudden breakdowns while processing milk. . Fit, join and check stainless steel pipes that carry milk safely through the factory. . Clean, oil and tighten bolts on machinery as scheduled. . Follow strict food safety and factory safety guidelines. Key responsibilities - . Repairing machines quickly if they stop working so that milk does not spoil. . Checking, oiling and greasing machine parts before they break down. . Keeping the stainless steel pipes and pumps leak free so milk flows safely from tankers to processing units. . Making sure no oil, grease or dirty water gets into the milk pipelines. . Checking the automated waehing systems that flush out and sanitize the inside of the milk tanks and pipes. . Using special, safe lubricants for machines that come near food products. . Maintaining the high speed machines thet fill and seal milk pouches, curd cups and ghee cartons. . Wearing proper safety gear and keeping the workshop clean.

. Intermediate / ITI Certificate in the Fitter Trade . Ability to read simple machine drawings and grinders . Freshers can get apprentice or trainee job . Experience of 1 to 3 years is helpful for regular staff . Able to stand for long hours and do active physical work in the plant
