Job Description

Job Code - 2126 Male / Female TGT Sanskrit Teacher in School at Saharanpur A Trained Graduate Teacher ( TGT ) sanskrit teacher instructs middle and high school students in the Sanskrit language, grammar and literature. . Help students learn to read, write, speak and understand Sanskrit . . Usually middle or high school ( classes 6 to 10 ). . Plan daily lessons, teach grammar rules, vocabulary and classical texts. . Make worksheets, assignments and study guides. . Create tests, grade papers and track student improvement. . Keep the classroom orderly, quiet and friendly for learning. . Help organize cultural events like shlok chanting or language competitions. . Share updates on how students ar doing during parent- teacher meetings. Key Responsibilities - . Deliver easy to understand lessons on Sanskrit grammar, vocabulary and prose / poetry. . Create daily lessons, worksheets and study notes according to the school board syllabus like CBSE or ICSE. . Keep the classroom disciplined, quiet and friendly for learning. . Help organize school events like shloka chanting, Sanskrit week or traditional recitations. . Meet parents during Parents - Teacher Meetings ( PTMs ) to discuss how the child is doing.

Requirements

. A bachelor's degree in Sanskrit and a teaching degree like B.Ed. . Passing tests like CTET or state TET is often required or preferred . Many school prefer1 to 3 years of past teaching experience. . Freshers with good marks can also get hired. . Deep understanding of Sanskrit grammar, literature and shlokas.
